Shimmering Odyssey: A Documentary on Education in Bastar (2025)

Prasun Goswami is a child rights practitioner and researcher with extensive experience working in fragile and conflict-affected systems. His work has spanned grassroots mobilisations, education in emergencies, and high-level policy advocacy. He has authored research and reports on Bastar and Manipur that have shaped public debate and influenced state action, including through contributions to UN processes on child rights in armed conflict. Beyond policy and research, he has worked closely with communities to reopen schools, strengthen pedagogical practices, and restore education where violence has disrupted children’s lives. His latest documentary, Shimmering Odyssey, reflects this commitment—bringing together scholarship, advocacy, and creative storytelling to amplify the voices of children and educators at the margins.
